New to the Australian Economics Olympiad?

Are you an economics student looking for a challenge? What about an eco teacher looking for a way to get students more excited about their eco studies?

Answer yes? Check out The Australian Economics Olympiad (AEO).

The AEO is a unique experience that gives students the chance to learn more about economics, and compete with other students on their ability to apply economic concepts to real-world events.

But the AEO is more than a competition. We aim to improve the level of economic understanding among Australian high school students and encourage young people to see the enormous opportunities of careers in economics.

In the video below, UNSW Economics Professor Gigi Foster discusses the AEO — what it is and how it all works. Professor Foster is part of the AEO organising committee.
